Tandem Powder & Foam
The Tandem dual purpose fire extinguishers are available in
9ltr Foam or 6kg or 12kg Dry Powder versions. The extinguishers come with
a five year guarantee provided they are serviced and maintained annually
by a competent person in accordance with BS5306 Pt3, using manufacturer’s
spare parts, and in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
The tandem extinguishers can be used as a standard fire extinguisher or can
be wall-mounted inside premises to ensure protection during periods of non-occupancy.
Typical applications include industrial plants, shops., offices, heating
systems, portakabins and petrol stations. The Foam extinguishers are suitable
for use on Class A and B fires and the Dry Powder extinguishers can be used
on class A. B and C fires. The Foam extinguishers are safe for inadvertent
use on electrical equipment up to 1,000v at a distance of 1 metre.
