Dry Powder: Coal Dust and Mining
The PG6 Hi-BK has been specifically designed for use against
coal dust fires and can also be used to combat other dust fire risks. With
the applicator removed, the extinguisher can be used as a standard A, B,
C powder fire extinguisher.
The PK10 is designed for use in extreme environments such as mining and quarrying
industries. The extinguisher is protected from the fine dust which is presenting
those harsh conditions.
The extinguishers come with a five year guarantee provided they are serviced
and maintained annually by a competent person in accordance with BS5306 Pt3,
using manufacturer’s spare parts, and in line with the manufacturer’s
recommendations.
